Competitive Soccer Program Philosophy

Hollywood FC Competitive Soccer Program is dedicated to the education and the development of the individual player and team so that the players may be competitive within the USL Academy, UPSL, EDP, SFUYSA League, The Florida League, MDSL, SFPSL, CCL, GHSL Gold Divisions, and other such leagues that provide for the most competitive soccer in South Florida. Participating in the Competitive Program requires a higher commitment from the Club, families, and the players. To achieve the highest level of competitiveness these teams’ training is overseen by certified and licensed coaches.

Player development is demanded and playing time is earned. Additionally, volunteer assistant coaches and team managers have been essential to the past and future success of the Competitive Program.

COMPETITIVE GIRLS PROGRAM

Get Sporty - To shape up and have fun, join a team.

A recent study found that female athletes performed better when they felt they were an important team member, and those who weren't strong athletes pushed themselves harder when they were part of a group.

Hollywood FC offers competitive and recreational soccer programs to provide an environment where the girls can be proud to play and call their home.

ELITE/PREMIER teams are the top-tier teams that train and play matches at a more competitive level.
SELECT teams are REC+; they play matches in the GHSL (Greater Hollywood Soccer League) and other more competitive leagues.
GRAY RECREATIONAL teams welcome girls of all skill levels and complete newbies; they play Recreational games against other recreational Clubs in the GHSL.

GIRLS ACADEMY

Our Competitive coaches focus on pushing to improve in all aspects of the game. Team priority is commitment and desire to play high school/college soccer or beyond.

All girls, regardless of skill set, are welcomed to participate in recreational. Please take into consideration your daughter’s commitment. It is difficult on the team if a player cannot participate regularly.

We continue to expand our program to offer competitive soccer for all age groups. If you have a team that needs a coach or a player that needs a team, we would love to hear from you!

For female players 2009 and older a spot on the boys/coed team is available if interested.

Evaluated players tryout to make the team
Limited roster spots; register ASAP.
Divisions U5/U6/U7 play 4v4
Divisions U8 – U10 play 7v7
Division U11/U12 play 9v9
Divisions U14+ play 11v11 (target team size 18)
Included are league games, friendly matches within our In-house recreational league and neighboring clubs/academies, all Leagues, and Referee Fees
Included Professional Coaches
Depending on the price plan chosen, 4-6 tournaments are included, and players are expected to play tournaments in which their team participates

PUMA KIT UNIFORM ORDERING

NEW MODEL/DESIGN of PUMA UNIFORMS WILL BE USED FOR 2024/25 and 2025/26 cycle EVERYONE WILL NEED A NEW KIT
If you do not size the uniform, and you order too small or too big, it is the parent's responsibility to get a replacement at additional cost, you can make them last 2 years if you order correctly
COME TO THE OFFICE or Boggs Soccer Shop AND TRY YOUR CHILD UNIFORM FOR SIZE - ask for Nicole, she is not there every day during the Summer break
