Our Recreational Programs Philosophy

Hollywood FC youth soccer club’s Recreational Programs are geared towards the education and the development of the individual player and team. Inclusiveness, family, and fun are the core components of this Program.


Players of all skill sets are welcomed; everyone plays.


However, there are limited roster positions available for the GHSL teams. These teams will play half of their games on a home field and the other half away at other nearby clubs. Volunteer assistant coaches and team managers are essential to the success of this, our most popular program.

RECREATIONAL GIRLS PROGRAM

Get Sporty - To shape up and have fun, join a team.

A recent study found that female athletes performed better when they felt they were an important team member, and those who weren't strong athletes pushed themselves harder when they were part of a group.

Hollywood FC offers competitive and recreational soccer programs to provide an environment where the girls can be proud to play and call their home.


  • ELITE/PREMIER teams are the top-tier teams that train and play matches at a more competitive level.

  • SELECT teams are REC+; they play matches in the GHSL (Greater Hollywood Soccer League) and other more competitive leagues.

  • GRAY RECREATIONAL teams welcome girls of all skill levels and complete newbies; they play Recreational games against other recreational Clubs in the GHSL.

Home for Every Girl

  • New competitive players pre-register for tryouts

  • We are looking to evaluate all female players to join our ELITE, PREMIER and SELECT teams - TRYOUTS ARE FREE

  • When more girls register than roster maximums, we have to turn some away, do not delay!!!

  • TRYOUTS ARE NOT for new players to try soccer; we offer GRAY Recreational teams for that or Girls Academy

  • Recreational players can register as early as in July and start in August when school starts.

Join the Club

Our Competitive coaches focus on pushing to improve in all aspects of the game. Team priority is commitment and desire to play high school/college soccer or beyond.

All girls, regardless of skill set, are welcomed to participate in recreational. Please take into consideration your daughter’s commitment. It is difficult on the team if a player cannot participate regularly.

We continue to expand our program to offer competitive soccer for all age groups. If you have a team that needs a coach or a player that needs a team, we would love to hear from you!


For female players 2009 and older a spot on the boys/coed team is available if interested.

From U5 (2018) to U14 (2010)

  • Evaluated players tryout to make the team
  • Limited roster spots; register ASAP.

  • Divisions U5/U6/U7 play 4v4
  • Divisions U8 – U10 play 7v7
  • Division U11/U12 play 9v9
  • Divisions U14+ play 11v11 (target team size 18)

  • Included are league games, friendly matches within our In-house recreational league and neighboring clubs/academies, all Leagues, and Referee Fees
  • Included Professional Coaches
  • Depending on the price plan chosen, 4-6 tournaments are included, and players are expected to play tournaments in which their team participates
